Morbidity Management and Disability Prevention (MMDP) is a five-year cooperative agreement through which RTI supports and expands NTD control and elimination in priority countries and will further the development of evidence-based policies and standards globally. Position Summary:
The Program Manager will manage various aspects of the RTI MMDP Project. This will include work planning and budgeting, implementation of the morbidity management activities for trachoma and lymphatic filariasis, technical coordination including monitoring and evaluation. He/she will also assist in managing sub-grantees in delivering the project deliverables mainly in trichiasis and lymphatic filariasis morbidity management.
S/he will assist the FMOH as needed with strategic planning, NTD program monitoring and evaluation, diseases burden assessment and other related surveys. The MMDP Manager will report to the Chief of Party and Deputy Chief of Party and will closely work with RTI Senior Technical Advisor, ENVISION Program manager, RTI M&E Manager and RTI Finance and Grant Manager. S/he will supervise a Program Officer and work closely with the TT surgery Quality Assurance Officer and Seconded Technical Advisor for Beneshangul-Gumuz regional health bureau.
