BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent operates the daily operation of the restaurant/banquet in a designated outlet, ensuring that high quality food and beverage products and services are on offer to the hotel guests, and presenting them according to the Marriott Standards. Manages the maintenance, hygiene standards and safeguards the outlets’ financial objectives set out by MEA Addis Ababa. Ensure compliance of all departmental rules, policies, and procedures by associates consistently. Perform daily routine with departmental checklists are strictly followed and handovers between shifts are properly done and documented daily.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: In order to be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications. Applicants without the below listed qualifications need not apply as they will not be considered in the competitive pool.
EDUCATION: Diploma/certificate from recognized Catering school in Food & Beverage Services/Hospitality Supervision/Hotel Management/ is required. Knowledge of Food & Beverage Control or Food Preparation is an asset.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 3 years work experience as Restaurant Managers/Maitre D'hotel position in a renowned restaurant or Hotel is required.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATES: Certificate of computer literacy is desired.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: Fluent in English language conversation, well spoken, read, write, understand English. Other foreign international language is desirable.
