DCA is a Danish relief and development organisation working to assist and empower people affected by poverty and disasters to live a life in dignity. In Ethiopia, DCA commenced its work in 1982. Key areas of its work are saving life and livelihood through humanitarian interventions resilience building of vulnerable communities and empowerment. In Gambella, DCA has been working since early 2014 with non-food-items and WASH emergency response. Since mid-2015, DCA has expanded in Gambella and humanitarian response now includes a fresh food e-voucher system set up in Jewi, Tierkidi, Nguenyyiel and Kule camps. In addition to fresh food, DCA is also implementing livelihood interventions targeting refugees and host communities to address food security challenges.
DCA is currently looking for field officers who will be responsible to the attainment of the DCA livelihood intervention objectives.

Overall Job purpose
The Field Officer-Livelihood contributes to the attainment of the DCA Livelihood intervention objectives under the technical supervision of the Senior Livelihood Officer. The Field Officer is overall responsible for beneficiary targeting, beneficiary registration and verification, beneficiary sensitization, mobilization, distribution of inputs, training and monitoring of the use of inputs.
