ROLE PURPOSE:
Under the overall coordination, close technical and managerial supervision of the JEOP zonal coordinator, the JEOP WH Maintenance and Construction Officer will ensure the effective and efficient implementation of activities directly related with Warehouse maintenance like fencing, toilet construction, storekeepers office construction, guardhouse construction, drainage construction and maintenance of openings and cracks of warehouses in the operation woredas, FDP sites. Assess and design warehouse maintenance to be constructed, prepare bill of quantities (BoQs) and specifications, follow up procurements, proper contract management for the JEOP warehouse Constructions, monitor and report performances and results of contractors periodically, ensure proper takeoff preparations, payment facilitations and handing over/taking over activities with contractors.
