Amref Health Africa (formerly African Medical Research Foundation) is the premier African-led international health development organization headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. We are currently seeking a consultant firm to conduct end term evaluation of EU funded Sanitation Daily Project (In Addis Ketema, Lideta, and Kirkos Sub Cities of Addis Ababa
General objective of the evaluation
Specific Objectives
· To assess basic sanitation coverage among vulnerable and needy communities
· To assess the extent of project achievement towards improved hygienic practices at household level in targeted communities;
· To assess the level of project achievement towards community involvement and capacity for decision making on WASH service provision;
· To determine the project achievement towards improved technical and management capacities of local water and sanitation service providers and health authorities for improved sanitation service delivery;
· To assess the project achievement towards improving the living condition of urban poor through provision of improved knowledge and awareness of sanitation services;
The potential consultancy firm is required to meet the following minimum requirements in order to qualify for the submission of proposal.
The final evaluation team shall consist of evaluation related professionals with experience in WASH., Development studies, Public Health Specialists, and statistician with a minimum of Second Degree (MPH, MA or MSc) in the relevant focus area. In addition to the above requirements, the consultancy firm or team is required to meet the following minimum requirements in order to qualify for the submission of its proposal.
