Job Summary
Drives and helps maintain all vehicles and other equipment, support mobilization and demobilization. The position holder needs to want to do more than just drive. In this position, the driver is also the drilling technician/trainee. S/he will perform as an all-around field hand with other duties as assigned.
Duty Station:
The position holder will be based in Awassa at the southern Ethiopia Program Office. He/she will be dispatched to the field based on the drilling program schedule that will be made known in advance to all crew members. Field work is generally 7 to 14 days in length with no days off scheduled during drilling activities. Drilling crew members may be assigned out of their duty station to complete duties related to drilling program tasks. A time off schedule for holidays and sick time will be provided to all workers
