The Health, Development and Anti Malaria Association (HDAMA) is an Ethiopian Residents' Charity organization, which was first established in 1998 to respond to the occurrence and increasing impact of devastating malaria outbreak in Ethiopia. The organization had been officially registered as an indigenous NGO by then the Ministry of Justice. Currently, the Association has renewed license as an Ethiopian Resident Charity in accordance with the Charities and Societies Proclamation no 621/2009 and Regulation no 168/2009 issued by the Council of Ministers (Registration Certificate Attached Annexed). HDAMA envisions seeing a healthy society with sufficient livelihood opportunities and safer environment. It is committed to working with key stakeholders and the community in identifying needs and providing supports and services, focusing on the most vulnerable, to eliminate malaria; prevent and control the spread and reduce the impact of HIV/AIDS; prevent major communicable diseases; improve adolescent, reproductive, maternal and child health and wellbeing and promoting environmental friendly practices to prevent climate change and vulnerability.
HDAMA welcomes applicants for the position of Media Communication Advisor as to work under the project entitled “Communications and Media Campaign to Intensify Support for the Adoption of the Proclamation with TC Measures in Ethiopia” as described below.
