Position: Specialist, IT Support
Required No.: 2 (Two)
Duty Station: Nekemte and Humera
Availability: As soon as possible
JOB PURPOSE:- Responsible to provide Infrastructure and application support primarily within the Online Trading centers. Ensure timely application support is given to eTraders. Maintain, control, and troubleshoot all IT equipment found in the eTrading centers. Ensure standards and change management policies are enforced on all eTraders’ devices and shared resources within the eTrading centers.
SUMMARY OF MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provide first and second tier Application Support eTrade trading Application, Price Tickers, SMS/IVR Applications and Services;
· Responsible for maintaining , troubleshooting and controlling all Trading centers IT hardware;
· Provide training to different Stakeholders in eTrading Trading Application;
· Manage the IT Asset and change Management module of Sys Aid System;
· Ensure standards and change management policies are enforced on all user devices and shared resources including ghosting user desktops with standard and approved system and application software;
· Track, manage and report on all IT support requests and ensures timely support is given;
· Enhance current IT support processes and procedures meet expanding need;
· Test and ensure all in-house and procured IT assets meet expected standards;
· Ensure user device are up-to-date with windows and anti-virus updates;
· Liaise and work with other IT teams to solve user problems;
· Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
· MSc/BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; A+, CCNA certification is advantageous and 2/4 years of work experience in relevant field respectively.
