Position:- Specialist, Project Management

Job Purpose; - to assist the Project Manager so that projects accomplish their targets: on time, as per desired quality and on budget by managing projects from initiation to final close out. Facilitate and assist in the planning, executing & monitoring of project progress.
SUMMARY OF MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Coordinate the preparation of annual plan activities of PMD
· Formal report preparation in periodical, quarter, mid-year and annual reports and submit the same to immediate supervisor;
· Responsible for the preparation of plan and schedule project time line and budget;
· Closely work with the Project Manager in planning, organizing, coordinating, programming, monitoring, and evaluation of the projects/programs and provide quality technical support in these areas;
· Ensure and monitor project progress is regularly tracked and impact is evaluated in terms of its contribution towards achieving objectives and goals;
· Apply technical expertise on the development and/ or updating of monitoring and evaluation guidelines, tools and systems for use by ECX and its partners;
· Advise and Edit the preparation of annual plans and regular reporting (monthly, quarterly, annually and other status reports as required) to the division;
· Engage in project management, researches, compiles, analyses, summarizes, and presents basic information/data on specific programs/project and related topics;
· Assist the Manager through coordination of program/project planning and preparation; monitors status of program/project proposals; takes necessary action to ensure project documents are completed and submitted to relevant parties for approval;
· Provide technical and editorial support to programs and projects, ensuring effective and timely dissemination of reports, in line with project documentation and clients' expectations;
· Responsible for donor/in-house project proposals, researches, and analyses and presents the document for stakeholders with Manager;
· Organizes and prepares written outputs including feasibility studies, planning documents, project charters, and process analysis and project reports;
· Take part in activities related to budget funding (program/project preparation and submissions, progress and performance reports) and prepares related documents and reports (pledging, work program, program budget, etc.);
· Monitor, reviews and track project deliverables using appropriate tools and the progress of projects during planning, implementation, identifies technical and other constraints and resolves issues encountered;
· Participate on the preparation and presentation of oral and/or written technical reports and project presentations;
· Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
· MBA\MA\MSc/BA/BSc in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing Management or other related fields
· 4/6 Years of work experience in relevant field.
· Knowledge in Project Management ;
· Basic Computer Knowledge on MS Office, Word and Excel;
