Job Title: Supply Chain Planning Manager
As our Supply Chain Planning Manager you are accountable for optimizing capacity management of our suppliers to meet demand requirements and PVH service, inventory, and cost objectives. You will perform the capacity planning, level loading, production prioritization, vendor allocation optimization, and collaboration process with our suppliers. Your primary role is to translate buy plans into supply projections, manage related planning systems (JDA Enterprise Supply Planning) for your portion of the business, and understand supplier constraints and capabilities. Through these actions, you will contribute to senior leadership by recommending the most appropriate levers in supplier operation to best meet a priority on production and product mix planning.
Requirements for the position include:
Create, monitor and execute monthly production plans for regional vendors at the line and factory level.
Identify and resolve capacity short-falls either with downstream demand collaboration or upstream supplier schedule changes.
Create, monitor and execute monthly Supply plans for Key Raw Material in region.
Drive supply chain data gathering, analysis, and reporting needs
Create analyses to demonstrate over/under capacity utilization always contextualizing the variables in product, volume, fabric that create potential risk/reward scenarios for business.
Translate midterm to long-term PVH Buy Plan into a high-level rough cut capacity plan (RCCP) for vendor and hub collaboration.
Analyze and report weekly & monthly metrics, KPIs, and insights to the management team by working with each Supplier to understand data and key drivers
Work with corresponding demand and fulfillment planners on identified supply scenarios to gain alignment and adjust plans accordingly.
Ability to build an improved data model, to sketch the right supplier capacity strategies. Leverage experience with suppliers to propose new approaches.
Utilizing leadership direction as starting point, execute against allocation of demand to supplier base.
Execute supply chain optimization opportunities such as speed models, postponement, advancement, expediting, consolidation, segmentation, supplier reduction.
Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders through formalized collaboration and partnership.
Champion supply planning best practices and support continuous improvement in the supply planning and collaboration processes.
Qualifications for the position include:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related Business degree. MBA a plus.
APICS or CSCMP certification not required but highly valued.
Experience:
Minimum 4-6 years in Supply Chain management roles, including: production planning, manufacturing, inventory management, operations, sourcing/procurement,
Consumer products company experience preferred, especially a fast-moving, multi-channel consumer goods business with global manufacturing/sourcing. Apparel or like product manufacturing or sourcing not required but highly desirable.
2-4 years with a leading advanced planning system (APS) tool; preferably JDA Enterprise Planning (ESP), Master Planning (MP), and Fulfill, or relevant experience with similar modules in Manugistics, Logility, SAP, or Oracle.
Familiar with ERP and planning tech systems
