Nutrition International’s head office is in Ottawa, Canada and it’s Ethiopia country office is Addis Ababa under the name of The Micronutrient Initiative. Nutrition International is looking for an outsourced IT service provider to support information systems, improve the performances of current systems as well as the quality of IT support delivered to its staff in Ethiopia. By doing so, the local outsourced IT service provider should work closely with Nutrition International Ottawa staff and its Global IT Managed Service Provider (IT MSP).
Overall Purpose / Broad Function
The outsourced IT service provider is responsible for the effective and efficient support of 15 staff in the Ethiopia office by ensuring the proper usage of desktops, laptops, servers, printers, network devices, software and any other IT related equipment. The provider will be responsible for the implementation of upgrades, updates as designed by NI IT MSP, and staff. The provider will also ensure routine maintenance both corrective and preventive, the troubleshooting of malfunctioning software and hardware as well as providing to end-users training as required. The IT provider will advise the MI Ethiopia office staff and IT Staff at Ottawa about all required improvement in the NI systems as well as supporting the Ethiopia Finance and Administration staff on the inventory and renewal of various licenses and IT equipment.
Nutrition International has defined three (03) levels of severities defined as below and invite outsourced IT service providers to propose the response time and resolution time in a form of Service Level Agreement according the below matrix.
