ABOUT THE ROLE
GOAL Ethiopia is looking for a highly experienced individual for the position of Senior WASH Officer (Roving) to ensure that GOAL Ethiopia is SWASHO will be totally responsible to oversee the successful implementation of the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene promotion activities in Oromia in particular to Borrena, Bale and Guji zones and possibly will be scale up to other areas and check regularly that effective integration is exercised with nutrition in the whole course of the project implementation.
ABOUT YOU
You'll be an experienced Senior WASH Officer and working across in different parts of zones in Oromia region, such as in Borrena, Bale and Guji, incorporate all the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene aspects in to each of the programme activities and that systems are developed to monitor the performance of these activities for affected communities, health institutions and IDP’s (internally displaced peoples).
Job Requirements
· Bachelor Degree in water supply and environmental engineering, Water Resource engineering, Hydraulic Engineering or related field more than 5 years of relevant experience preferably with an NGO setting. Demonstrated experience in emergency WASH response
· Good demonstrated experience in using AutoCAD and WaterCad software
· Ability to demonstrate theoretical aspect of community mobilization in to practice.
· Strong organizational skill and experience with work planning and timetabling
· Excellent communication and coordination skill, preferably with the community and woreda line departments government
· Ability to understand the cultural context of the community and use that culture as an input for community mobilization.

Remuneration & Benefits:
Salary Birr 13,919.00 per month.
Transportation Allowance - 10% of monthly salary.
Taxi fare, 300 birr/month.
Medical Allowance - Birr 6500/annum (will be added in your monthly salary)
Pension - as per the government pension scheme (11% from the employer and 7% from the employee).
