ECX represents the future of Ethiopia, bringing integrity, security, and efficiency to the market. ECX would like to recruit motivated and qualified applicants for the following positions.
Job Purpose: - to validate and confirm eligibility of Members and Floor Representatives to trade; register and maintain attendance record and provide the right token for specific session by randomly assigning workstations and to handle tokens and manage order tickets by carrying out reconciliation.
Duties and responsibilities
· Receive Seller WHR expiration extension requests by ensuring their completeness and Perform processing of all the data required. Make follow up on submission of the signed WHR extension applications to concerned division of the warehouse service provide and keep records on date and time of receiving the applications and submission;
· Assists trading center Specialist in managing the trading sessions and ensures compliance to the Rules;
· Assist the Center Manager in producing and compiling various regular & periodic reports to submitted to external and internal users;
· Receive and process all trade error correction/trade cancellation forms and ensure their completeness and duly signed by the applicant/s and ensure the hardcopy/scanned version is attached for approval; Properly file all the hard/soft copies of approved trade cancellation/adjustment documents in secured place;
· Ensure all materials required (papers, toners, etc.) for back office operations are available adequately and initiate the request and follow up on purchase of materials;
· Reconciles all un-reconciled orders at the end of each trading session;
· Approves all reconciled orders at the end of the trading day;
· Ensures each trading session has started and ended on time;
· Ensures that all information on order tickets is captured correctly, price is disseminated in a timely manner, operational audit trail is mapped out correctly and all procedures are followed;
· Manages the recording of the trade; and the flow and execution of trade orders;
· Ensures that all trade prices are captured correctly;
· Performs other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Required Qualification and Experience
Required Skill: - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse people, ability to handle/manage conflict; Statistical analysis and MS-Office application skill, Excellent customer handling, complaint handling skills, Ability to work in dynamic, fast paced work environment, Ability to work independently and is proactive, Ability to work under tight deadlines.
