Dimensions of Role: • You are tasked with ensuring the effective and efficient management and functioning of the
Finance department, utilizing the resources and personnel under your control and within the
ambit of relevant legislation and company policies and procedures.
Typical Responsibilities - Key End Results of Position: • Monthly international IFRS reporting to shareholders • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations • Fully functional internal audit function • Liaising with international audit firm • Providing support to all company sites in Addis Ababa. Dukem/Debre Zeit and Adami Tulu

Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors Required to Achieve Role’s Objectives:
Knowledge • Excellent accounting expertise • A vast experience of abattoir accounting packages • Detailed knowledge of abattoir processes, capturing and managing daily, weekly, monthly KPI’s • IFRS
Skills • Specific Finance skills • Interpersonal relationships • A team player • SAP knowledge/background • Beef/meat industry experience, with specific relation to abattoirs and slaughterhouses • Proficient in English • Good report writing skills • Proficient in Microsoft products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
