In Ethiopia, CRS has a long and rich history of providing emergency relief and development assistance to the people of Ethiopia since 1958. Position Title: Project Officer - Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL)
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
Employment term: Indefinite period Contingent up on funding of the LRO Program
Reports to: MEAL Manager
Job Summary:
The MEAL Project Officer will be responsible for maintaining the project’s MEAL operating manual, perform data collection tools field testing and update project SMILER (Simple Measurements of Indicators for Learning and Evidence based Reporting). He/she will support the implementation of Information Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D) initiatives in the project within CRS Ethiopia and implementing partner. The officer will support and develop capacities of partner staff and provide field level support for the successful implementation of the project MEAL system. He/ She will also be responsible for the implementation of the project’s accountability system and compliance of overall accountability requirements of the project.
The Officer will support and develop MEAL capacities of partner staff and primary stakeholders for managing and implementation of project’s MEAL system. She/he will contribute to compliance of LRO to the CRS MEAL Policies and Procedures (MPP) requirements and donors’ M&E requirements.
