Rehabilitation and Development Organization (RaDO) is looking for qualified applicants for the position of Gender Based Violence (GBV) Officers. RaDO is working in the Somalia and Sudanese Refugee Camps established in Ethiopia mainly in the areas of Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities (disability), Sexual Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS,Gender Based Violence (GBV), etc Community Service.
Job Summary:
The purpose of the Psychosocial Support Officer position is to lead and coordinate the implementation of the counselling, guidance and Psychosocial support activities for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) , families of PWDs and all activities related to Children With Disabilities. He/She is mainly responsible to ensure that a high standard of counselling/ psychosocial care is provided to PWDs and their families with psychosocial problems. The Psychologist is also responsible to establishes and maintains effective working relationships with and to provide training on counselling and Psychosocial support to the RaDO staff, PWDs and their families, key partners and NGOs and other community stakeholders. He /She is also expected to conduct assessments, manage database of the organization, assists the Senior Rehabilitation Project Officer in planning and report compilation and other related activities. His/ Her assignment is to work with the local and refugee communities
