PSI/Ethiopia is an innovative network member of PSI with a team of more than 140 people passionate about marketing and dedicated to serving Sara! Since 2003, we have marketed products and led programs to prevent HIV, improve reproductive health, and improve child health. We market condoms and increase condom use among people most at risk of HIV. We increase access to clean water by selling Wuha Agar, a water disinfectant. At PSI/Ethiopia we do more than simply provide products and services, we seek to create true change – by making markets work for the poor – to increase the use of critical health products and services that are available, affordable, and desirable to the most vulnerable Ethiopian people.
We are looking for dynamic quality assurance (QA) coordinators under a 5 years USAID-funded activity aimed at providing comprehensive HIV services for key and priority populations. The ideal candidates have clinical experience, preferably ART and HTS, with the provision of HIV services to key populations; they are proactive and able to work independently. They have good interpersonal skills and are able to provide feedback to partners and public health providers. They are extremely attentive to details and have experience ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures. This position holder will be using innovative technology (HNQIS, Health Network Quality Assurance System) to implement online scoring and follow up over time.

Your contribution
You will work under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager, in close collaboration with the technical team, the regional team, the MEL team and the capacity building team. More specifically, you will:
- Conduct QA visits to local implementing partners and providers to assess the service delivery at public, private and DIC level
- Cascade standardization on comprehensive HIV services for key and priority population and later ensure quality of service against standards
- Train, coach and mentor service providers and implementing partners to ensure quality and client safety during service provision
- Develop and improve provider and implementing partners’ productivity
- Be responsible for the implementation quality improvement within the portfolio of partners and providers given
- Conduct review meetings for quality improvement execution and follow up at the local level to ensure immediate implementation
- Contribute to the capacity building plan of the local implementing partners by working in close collaboration with the clinical services and MEL teams
- Use HNQIS, an off-line tablet-based tool to plan, assess, improve and monitor quality at the service provision level
- Produce regular reports in QA findings and further follow up

Your background
- BA in Public Health/Nursing or equivalent
- 4 years of progressive professional experience in clinical services, ART and/or quality assurance
- Experience on HIV comprehensive services to key populations through public and private sector facilities
What it takes to succeed
- Understanding of HIV services SOPs and national guidelines
- Attention to details and problem-solving capacity
- Proficiency in MS Office products;
- Fluency in English, Amharic and regional languages
- Good personal organizational skills including the ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Willingness to travel extensively within Ethiopia
