PSI/Ethiopia is an innovative network member of PSI with a team of more than 140 people passionate about marketing and dedicated to serving Sara! Since 2003, we have marketed products and led programs to prevent HIV, improve reproductive health, and improve child health. We market condoms and increase condom use among people most at risk of HIV. We increase access to clean water by selling WuhaAgar, a water disinfectant. At PSI/Ethiopia we do more than simply provide products and services, we seek to create true change – by making markets work for the poor – to increase the use of critical health products and services that are available, affordable, and desirable to the most vulnerable Ethiopian people.
We are looking for a resourceful, experienced and expert for Worksite related effective HIV services for priority population. A technical detail consultant that supports the worksite initiative that covers up to 85 worksites all over the country under the USAID, $65.1 million five Year, HIV Services for Key and Priority Population Project. The consultant is expected to have 10 Years of in-depth and hands-on experience in Worksite targeted intervention. Moreover, s/he must be result oriented and deliver key milestones in a timely fashion. Previous experience in coordination, capacity building and standardization of clinical and behavioral interventions at worksite level is required. Working with MOH/FHAPCO, MOLSA and Umbrella Worksite institutions and establishing and early win partnership is seen as a key deliverable of this scope. Co-creating tools for interim implementation and support for a design on user-centered approach to come up with a differentiated worksite intervention is an exciting opportunity for the incumbent of this position. This consultant is expected to facilitate and lead an accelerated start up and scale up of a five year, $65.1 million USAID community key and priority population intervention related to the worksite, their fixed facilities and private and public facilities in their vicinity. The networks of these facilities under this activity, through the technical assistance of the consultant will be assessed and established with a vision on successful referrals, back-referral, linkage and documentation.

Your contribution
Under the supervision of the Chief of Party and dotted line with the PSI Worksite Manager, s/he will;
- Work closely with the PSI Worksite Manager to rollout the new activity
- Lead the selection of key stakeholders and development of a partnership framework
- Facilitate to Draft and sign/countersign of partnership agreements with MOH, MOLSA and key Umbrella Worksite stakeholders including Sugar Corporation, Horticulture, and Civil Society Organizations.
- Support rollout of activities including training for worksites: behavioral, biomedical and structural
- Support the design and rollout of user centered design to come up with a differentiated HIV prevention model for worksites
- Prioritize the selection of worksites based on evidence and rollout differentiated activities
- Assess potential collaboration and opportunity to work with the new industrial parks
- Lead regular stakeholders meeting on quarterly basis including at catchment area and centrally with full engagement of MOLSA, FHAPCO and MOH structure
- C0-design Data to Action (D2A) framework in close collaboration with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) team
- Drive and deliver targets on HIV cases identified, HIV Testing Services (HTS), and Priority population related to the Worksites
- Technical assistance for commodities quantification, forecast, distribution plan and distribution in close collaboration with Product Supply and Distribution Team
- Any other activities assigned by the supervisor in relation with Worksites
Your Key Performance Indicators
· Scale up of project to 20-40 Worksites
· Design the standard, pilot and capture learnings on a pilot Worksite DIC modality; two Worksite DICs are established
· Assessment and selection of worksite facilities, private and public networks are established for respective worksites
· D2A framework for the Worksite piece is developed and approved
· MEL plan is finalized and indicators are defined in relation to Worksite
· MEL tools are designed, pre-tested, providers trained and materials distributed (with a distribution plan) to all scale up 2worksites
· Targets on worksite HIV positives identifies, HTS and Priority population reach are achieved
Your background
- M.D, MPH is preferred.
- 10-15 Years of experience of which 10 Years in key and priority population community services is required
- Worksite HIV intervention experience is required
- Expertise in standardization and training is a plus
