ABOUT THE ROLE
GOAL Ethiopia is looking for a highly experienced individual for the position of Senior Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Accountability Officer who is going to be strongly engaged on Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Documentation, CHS, accountability, Mainstreaming and Compliance issues. S/He is responsible to put in place proper planning, monitoring and evaluation, accountability and learning systems and strategies for the country office including a simple and shared data base system. S/He is also reasonable in improving the quality of GOAL Ethiopia’s interventions by strengthening institutional memory and lesson learning through a systematized approach to recording, documenting and internalizing experience with maximum participation of internal and external stakeholders. S/He develop and implement GOAL Ethiopia information sharing and complaints Response Mechanisms (CRM) and implement and monitor GOAL Ethiopia Accountability framework.
ABOUT YOU
You'll be an experienced Senior Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Accountability Officer and will be expected to work in close collaboration the programme team at Head and Field Offices both in RUDP & HRP programmes you will have a functional supporting and supervisory role to field level MEAL Officers.
Job Requirements
MA/MSc in rural development, development studies, economics, public health comprehensive knowledge of integrated rural development programme, and humanitarian response programme and other related programs with 2 -4 years experience.
Desirable qualities, Skills and Competences:
Health and/or food security related data management experience
Experience in organizing and facilitating trainings events
Expertise in food security, community based nutrition, water/sanitation, non-formal/alternative basic education
Highly motivated and able to work independently;
Planning and prioritizing skills

Remuneration & Benefits:
Salary Birr 18,083 – 24,148.00 per month
Transportation Allowance - 10% of monthly salary.
Taxi fare, 300 birr/month.
Medical Allowance - Birr 6500/annum (will be added in your monthly salary)
Pension - as per the government pension scheme (11% from the employer and 7% from the employee).
