· Conduct continuous regular based awareness raising campaigns, meetings and events on water reporting
· Collaborate with all kebele WASHCO members, operators, Wereda technicians, Zonal and regional partners on water reporting for successful implementation of the project Ensure visibility of PIN among the communities and government staff (Development Agents (DAs);
· Regular follow up of water report functionality with WWO cluster, Zonal and regional coordinators
· Water Reporting development planning, implementation and revision
· Works closely with target WASHCO and governmental officials in order to ensure Mapping and Water reporting success
· Monitor data management, quality of data utilization in all level of stakeholders
· Participate & Organize woreda based water reporting team meetings
· Creating a competitive sprite among water sources in the Woreda.
· Technical support and monitoring the wereda technicians on the application of water report usage and responses for the problems.
· Facilitating and organizing trainings operators on the application of water report.
· Share day to day update about water report to Sidama mapping field coordinator
· Document lessons learnt, distribution list, minutes and any necessary documents organize and share individual beneficiaries’ profile and progress update to Sidama Mapping field coordinator.
· Identify and communicate good practices success stories, photo documentations and challenges concerning Water reporting to the field coordinator
· Support Sidama mapping Field Coordinator in creating network with local government and non-government institutions.
· Participate on the preparation of project plan, baseline surveys, participatory studies, community mapping, Water reporting barrier analysis, monitoring and evaluations through collecting data, mobilizing community;
· Prepare action plan for the implementation of project activities according to the log frame and time frame of the project;
· Ensure that grants that are provided to the project target parents are properly handled/utilized
·Prepare and submit weekly plan and progress reports of Water reporting to Filed coordinator on time;
· Plan and report activities to field coordinator in weekly bases
· Prepare and share report on every community meeting, campaign, experience sharing sessions, and other Water reporting related events conducted in the WWO and operators to the field coordinator
· Participate on regular project team meetings and providing necessary feedbacks and suggestions for the improvement of project quality;
o Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Water engineering disciplines (Water Supply, Sanitation, Water resource and Hydraulic Engineering) and other related fields of study
o Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in similar position.
o Experienced in database management and data collection
o Experience with programs focused on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene
o Previous working experience in the NGO environment is advantageous
o Strong writing and reporting skills(weekly, bi annual and annual)
o Experience in partnering with Ministry water, and Health, Bureau of Water and Health, Zonal & Woreda Water and Health Departments/Offices
o Excellent planning, budgeting, monitoring and organizational and communication skills
o Experience in SNNP Region set up
o Excellent analytical, team work, negotiation and influencing skills
o Excellent coordination and mobilization skill
o Computer friendly (Word, Excel, power point, outlook)
o Excellent knowledge of spoken & written Amharic, English and local language (Halabigna)
o 3 strong references (will be crosschecked/contacted)
