1. Background and context
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a humanitarian, non-governmental, non-profit organization founded in 1956 that works in 35 countries throughout the world, including Ethiopia. DRC commenced work in Ethiopia in 2009 and currently provides support in shelter, WASH, livelihoods, protection and others in Gambella, Somali and Tigray regions.
Currently, with the support of EU Trust Fund, DRC Shire Operation Area is implementing Enhanced Integration of Displaced and Displacement Affected Communities in Ethiopia (EIDDACE) project.
2. Key Responsibilities
2.1. Scope of consultancy
The consultancy will last for the period of the training, which is to be delivered between April and August 2018. The training will be delivered for police, prosecutors, judges, protection officers and other relevant staff in North Western Zone of the Tigray Regional State. The venue of the training will be in Shire. In total the training will be a maximum of 4 sessions (two days each).
