Plan International Ethiopia is looking for a Community Development Facilitator for Oromia Program Area.
The Role
This role will ensure the implementation of Plan’s Child Protection Policy in PIE and focus on protection, gender equality and sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR). The purpose of this position is to empower adolescent girls to be free from harmful practices and enjoy their sexual and reproductive health rights. The post holder is responsible for the delivery of results in line with pre agreed program plans and objectives at all stages throughout the project cycle.

Accountabilities
Ensures that Plan International’s global policies for Child Protection (CPP) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI) are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.
Essential
Diploma holder in Social Science (Technical and Vocational Training School 10 + 3) graduate in Community Development, Community Health, and other related fields.
