Allocate QC operators to perform inspections based on production plan.
Communicate with the QC team to ensure the Factory / Customer quality requirements are clearly understood within the team.
Monitor QC staff to ensure that they follow the Factory’s QA procedure for inspecting garments.
Inspect and make a judgment on garments on which the QC inspectors are unsure. Seek assistance from QA Senior Manager when necessary.
Review and analyze daily quality reports produced by QC inspectors and report the QA Senior Manager and the relevant Production team
Identify major or on-going quality problems and communicate to Production team. Assist in the investigation of root causes and determination of solutions to the problems where needed.
Accompany customer QC auditors and provide necessary assistance to customer QCs. Ensure Customer QC is inspecting according to the agreed customer standards
Report Customer inspection results back to Production for short-term and long-term corrective actions.
Provide training on the QC inspection process and Factory and customer quality standards to all new QC inspectors.
Conduct monthly assessment on QC inspectors and provide necessary training to upgrade their skill level
Promote quality mindset to all new incoming staff by delivering quality training on Factory and customer quality standards.
Participate in Factory-wide quality mindset programs and assist in the communication of performance against defined metrics.
