Maintain customer certifications of the Lab, and hold direct accountable for maintaining the proper documentation to follow customer testing standards
Hold immediate team accountable for inspecting and testing incoming fabrics, sub-materials and finished products against the quality standards
Provide the reports and communicate to relevant departments to address the issue as needed
Provide technical advice in dealing with customers on fabric and sub-materials related issues
Provide support for materials issues discovered during cutting, sewing and ironing, and provide special solutions to garments
Oversee the performance summary of the incoming fabric quality submitted by Immediate Employees (IEs) and work with claim team to feedback to the suppliers or the Fabric Sourcing team for improvement
Monitor the performance of testing staff against established SOPs and follow up with downstream departments
Guide, coach, train and develop technical staffs to improve their analytical knowledge/ skills and keep updated on new technologies, tools, and methods to improve Laboratory’s inspection and testing capabilities
Work to meet the key expectations of incoming material and maintain effective and respectful working relationships to drive high work collaboration
Job Requirement
Qualification and Experience:
Age 25-35 years old. Male/Female.
Basic computer skill on MS office
Bachelor’s degree or higher in garment/textile technology or an equivalent qualification
Ability to understand, communicate and write English is required
Knowledge and understanding of textile/garment laboratory instrument
Knowledge of Quality System, Laboratory Management System and Laboratory design
Experience in textile or garment industry at least 3 years is preferable
Good interpersonal & communication skills, well-organized, and good problem solving skill
