Roles and Responsibilities: To develop research strategies and present them for approval; To implement and promote approved research strategies and make sure that all research activities are fully integrated with Foundation’s other programs; To develop relationships with funders, to ensure mutual understanding of research priorities; To consult with researchers regarding design and publication of their works; To deliver high quality research and policy outputs; To manage staff and associates working on research projects; To produce a wide range of high quality written outputs, well targeted policy briefs, blogs and other material reflecting the purpose of the Foundation; To prepare the annual research budget for approval; To serve as a focal point for research-related questions and requests; To perform other related tasks as required. |
Minimum Education:
BA or MA in a Social Sciences field i.e Economics Political Science, etc |
Minimum Experience:
Five years of relevant experience in research |
Other Skills: Well-developed technical literacy Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods is essential Knowledge of online communications and use of social media Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Extensive knowledge of library automation and information technology |
