Position Summery As PR and Marketing Manager, be responsible for performing different PR & Marketing duties including Social media advertisements, Digital marketing activities to the highest standards with the guidance and supervision of the Director of Business Development and HILTON Standard. Some of the Major duties are: Manage the roll out of PR and marketing initiatives done with the Director of Business Development to support the hotel in meeting their targets. Oversee the execution of all promotional activities, whether local, regional or global, across all available channels, ensuring brand adherence and effectiveness and getting appropriate approval from Director of Business Development. Manage all media relations activities and information, including maintaining and distributing press kits, press releases, photo library, brochures, key personnel biographies and hotel question and answer sheet in consultation with Director of Business Development and final approval by General Manager. Oversee media visits and develop key media contacts, manage press conferences on site with the guidance and support of Director of Business Development and be aware of media events and activities in the local area and community Oversee all PR and marketing projects in line with resources and budget objectives in consultation and support of the line manager. |
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Hotel management. Having Master’s degree in the stated field of studies is an advantage Experience of working for minimum two years in a similar role. Experience in a hotel industry is advantageous Experience of developing, creating and managing promotional campaigns and PR and marketing activities with associated costs and working to budget restraints Demonstrates ability to interact effectively with various levels of management SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED Outstanding communication skills in all areas of writing, listening and speaking English. High proficiency of native language dependent on location of role Communicates key information effectively to all levels of management using a variety of communication tools Proficiency in Social Media utilization, Digital Marketing, Microsoft Office applications, budget management and project and time management Exhibits previous experience of written work in a communications role Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills.
