Work with IMC response team, community structures and partners to identify causes and contributing factors for violence against women and girls in the camp;
Engage community members to design participatory strategies and actions to prevent GBV in the camp;
Mobilize and engage community members and partners in prevention and response events in the camp including discussions, trainings etc;
Coordinate with partners to integrate GBV prevention activities in their activities;
Facilitate community events such as 16 Days of Activism to create awareness on the prevention of and response to GBV;
Engage community PSEA focal points to establish community-based complaints mechanisms and to raise awareness toward PSEA;
Work closely with partners, including ARRA and UNHCR, and focal points, to develop strategies for preventing violence related to firewood collection;
Monitor protection concerns for women and girls in the camp and share concerns with actors providing services;
Maintain good relations with community leaders in camp;
Coordinate activities with all stakeholders to build strong working relationships with community members, ARRA, UNHCR and other NGOs;
Maintain good relations with communities and partners including UNHCR in the camp;
Maintain records of activities and produce regular reports including weekly updates or Situational Reports (SitReP);
Contribute to a positive IMC team environment;
Participate in regular camp/entry point meetings as invited by ARRA and UNHCR
