Nuru International Ethiopia (NIE) is a US-based international NGO working to end extreme poverty in remote rural communities in Ethiopia. NIE is registered in Ethiopia as an International NGO with Charities and Societies Agency with Registration Number 2832. Nuru’s first integrated development project in Ethiopia began in 2013 in Boreda Woreda, Gamo Gofa Zone, and SNNPR. Nuru currently works in four integrated intervention areas/programs: Agriculture, Financial Inclusion, Healthcare and Education. All four programs work through Rural Cooperatives. Currently, Nuru Ethiopia employs approximately 85+ staff based both at headquarters and field offices in Gamo Gofa Zone of SNNPRS.

POSITION SUMMARY
The purpose of the Field Office Corrdinators (FOC)’s position is to plan, organize, coordinate, implememnent, monitor and evaluate the overall functions of the Field Office (FO) and disseminate lessons learned, ensure alignment of all development activities towards achievement of Nuru’s vision and progrm goal at the FO as well as at the country office level. She/he ensures efficient and cost effective operations of all functions of the FO and the fulfillment of the mission, goals and objectives of the organization. The FOC will ensure the orientation, coaching, supervision, personal security of all human reources needed to implement the FO program developent and support activities. She/he is also responsible and accountable for ensuring that the Nuru Ethiopia personnel, administration and procurement manuals are properly implemented and followed up by all in the FO.
