PSI/Ethiopia is an innovative network member of PSI with a team of more than 140 people passionate about marketing and dedicated to serving Sara! Since 2003, we have marketed products and led programs to prevent HIV, improve reproductive health, and improve child health. We market condoms and increase condom use among people most at risk of HIV. We increase access to clean water by selling Wuha Agar, a water disinfectant. At PSI/Ethiopia we do more than simply provide products and services, we seek to create true change – by making markets work for the poor – to increase the use of critical health products and services that are available, affordable, and desirable to the most vulnerable Ethiopian people.
We are looking for a Key Populations Technical Advisor, as manager will coordinate and lead synergy between various KP and PP activities. This position will be based at FHAPCO under a 5 years USAID-funded activity aimed at providing comprehensive HIV services for key and priority populations; this position will be primarily managed by the FHAPCO with dotted line with the Technical Director and COP, to whom s/he will provide regular inputs to inform the Activity’s Senior Management Team on policy influence and standardization. Moreover, scale up on KP and PP, integration, synergy and coordination with other implementing partners through FHAPCO and MOH will be supported by the KP advisor. This will also give high level leadership advise and capacity building for the FHAPCO and MOH in designing and standardizing key and priority population program and create enabling environment.

Your contribution
You will work under the supervision of the Technical Director, in close collaboration with the technical team, the regional team and the grants and contracts team. More specifically, you will:
- Lead capacity building to FHAPCO and MOH on KP and PP programming and cross-learning among various initiatives
- Be in charge of all the standardization, coordination and leadership support in rolling out key and priority population.
- Support the standardization effort on key and priority population on various initiatives
- Advise the annual planning, review meeting and evaluation of activities
- Serve as a national resource person for key and priority population program
- Advise and co-lead national HIV Prevention Advisory Group
- Co-investigate various modalities of HIV prevention to build evidence on contextualized global evidence based interventions
- Advise and standardize data to action (D2A) framework
- Support the data revolution effort of the MOH
- Perform any other related activities as assigned by immediate supervisor

- MPH/BA in Public Health, Sociology, Educational planning, Social Science and Economics
- 5/7 years of progressive professional experience in HIV comprehensive services provision and supervision
- Proven track record of working with GOE
