ROLE PURPOSE:
Job Summary: The position holder shall be in charge of technical quality implementation of OTP, SFP and Monitor Registrars, Measurers and Volunteers in strengthening the CMAM services in the Nutrition Centers. S/He will mainly be responsible for the Weekly and Biweekly implementation of the OTP and SFP in collaboration with other field based project staffs. In addition, the position holder is expected to provide supportive supervision and clinical care for patients in OTP site, and also provide on the job training to TSFP officer, Commodity officer and IYCF officers and HEWs. The position holder is also expected to Create and maintain a relationship with Woreda health office, woreda disaster management office and PHCU and other IPs. S/He is in charge of the staff, equipment, stocks, hygiene and the beneficiaries and their caretakers in the OTP/SCs/TSFP. S/He Respect of Save the Children rules by anyone visiting the program.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
· In charge of OTP and SFP quality program implementation on daily basis
· Responsible for supervising and manage supplementary food in pre- mix and distribution areas
· Ensure availability of required material for pre- mix and other materials used in the Nutrition Centers
· Supervise and ensure sanitary preparation and distribution of premix
· Monitors the commodity status for SFP
· Ensure Job aids are available in OTPs/SCs (quick reference, Look up table, report format, tally sheet, food commodity and drug stock control balance form)
· S/He also supports the Community mobilization and monthly CHD P programs
· Participate in capacity building training for health workers, Health extension workers, and health development armies as per the project plan and standard
· Follow up absentees/defaulters and keep a current record of both beneficiaries and the staff (Measurers, Registrars, and volunteers).
· Responsible for follow up and report on cases referred by Community volunteers
· Supervises the Nutrition Centers, sanitation, technical quality and availability of supplies in OTP and SFP.
· Supports the compilation of the monthly report.
· Organizes monthly report and report on time to the health & nutrition Coordinator and provides updates when needed
· Provides a regular monthly overview of supplies and other necessary materials
· Work closely with MEAL Coordinator for close monitoring of CMAM implementation and quality nutrition database

Child safeguarding (CSG)
· Conduct activities in accordance with the rules of the Child Safeguarding Policy, which includes reporting suspicions of child abuse,
· Ensure that all activities seen through a child safeguarding lens;
· Be vigilant about observing possible child abuse/harm,
· Ensure all partners and beneficiaries of Save the Children are aware of the child safeguarding policy and promote the message of child safeguarding to children, beneficiary families, and community members in general,
· Conduct project risk assessment using given template and mitigation plans are addressed Report performance of child safeguarding activities per quarter
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor degree in Nursing or Public Health/ human nutrition
Experience
Skills/Ability required
· Knowledge, training, and experience in management of OTP and SFP
· Demonstrated skills in program planning, implementation, and monitoring.
· Demonstrated skills in peer group training, Training of Trainers and development of training materials.
· Strong computer and interpersonal skills.
· Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Good command in written and spoken English.
· Willingness to work under pressure and extra hours
· Fluency in written and spoken English and Afaan Oromoo (Mandatory).
