ABOUT THE ROLE
GOAL is looking for a highly motivated and capable professional to fill the post of Emergency Nutrition & System Strengthening Field Coordinator for its Humanitarian Response Programme in East Hararge Zone, Oromia Region to strengthen the response capacity of East Hararge Zone health office to respond to emergency nutrition situations.
ABOUT YOU
You'll be experienced with humanitarian works with Flexible and creative approach, highly motivated and able to take the initiative and work unsupervised fosters working in teams & team work spirit, The incumbent will also be for the overall implementation of the pilot nutrition system strengthening project in the zone. You will work closely with the programme and support team at field office in East Harage Zone and the PHEM as well as with the nutrition focal persons. You must be eligible to work in Ethiopia.
REQUIREMENTS:
BSc in Public Health, Nutrition, or related field with a minimum of five years relevant experience,
Have a demonstrated experience in emergency nutrition programme, notably CMAM and running other feeding programme.
Have experience in treatments of malnutrition and running of feeding programme ,
Good knowledge, understanding and implementation of integrated Rural Development and emergency Programme activities,
Knowledge of the local language is a must.
Very good knowledge and practice of computer application,
Willing to travel to remote areas and to camp in the field, ability to work flexibly including weekends and willingness to travel and work in rural locations and live in basic conditions.
Understanding of the HRP nature and willing to travel and live in field site, with frequent transfer from site to site.
Accountability & responsiveness within areas of responsibilities,
Sensitive to Gender and cross-cutting issues.

Remuneration & Benefits:
Salary: Birr 20,884.00 per month
Pension: (11% from employer and 7% from employee)
Transportation Allowance: 10% of monthly salary
Hardship Allowance: 30% of monthly salary.
Medical Allowance: Birr 6500/annum (will be added in your monthly salary)
