Purpose:

The Plan International African Union (AU) & Pan Africa Program which is our (Plan’s) liaison Office to the African Union as well as our coordinated policy advocacy and campaign engagement at the Pan African level. It is guided by our thematic programmatic work in the areas of Child Rights, Child Protection, Education and Youth empowerment which is premised on our CCCD approach and programming at the Country level for evidence. This is the Plan International office that coordinates our engagement with Pan African Institutions and processes for the best interest of African children. Plan International has an MoU with the African Union and signed a host agreement with the government of Ethiopia through the Foreign Affairs Ministry in March 2012 for the establishment of this office. .
Reporting to the Finance and Operation Manager, the position holder is responsible in ensuring:

Accurate Financial analysis and reports in the Pan African Office compliant to established policies and procedures
Ensure Accurate monthly processing of the Payroll compliant to HR policies in place
Technical support on the day to day business processes to the Pan African Program Office
Pan African office Business plan in place in order to support funding plans
