The Human Resources Manager originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives
that will provide an employee-oriented; high-performance culture that emphasizes

of a superior workforce. Sets performance metrics, evaluates productivity (asses its outcome),
and helps workers create long-term career plans within a company.
Major duties & Responsibilities
Maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing,
and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and
practices.
Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing
program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit
interviews; recommending changes.
Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training
managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with
employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and
supervisors.
Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality,
continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high
performance
Establishes and leads the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures
necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce.
Interviews management and executive position candidates; serves as part of the interview
team for position finalists.
Determines and recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a
positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee
morale and motivation.
Monitors and advises managers and supervisors in the progressive discipline system of
the company. Monitors the implementation of a performance improvement process with
non-performing employees.
Establishes the company wage and salary structure, pay policies, and oversees the
variable pay systems within the company including bonuses and raises.
Recommends changes in benefits offered, especially new benefits aimed at employee
satisfaction and retention.
Manages employee communication and feedback through such avenues as company
