Project Overview:
Project HOPE, the prime partner in the USAID funded Community HIV care and treatment activity is seeking technical assistance of an individual consultant to start the piloting of urban health extension worker led community ART group in selected parts of the country.
The five-year program, Ethiopia Community HIV Care and Treatment, funded by PEPFAR through USAID, aims to contribute to the UNAIDS 90-90-90 goal of epidemic control in Ethiopia. The program will reach more than 200 priority districts with a variety of services including:
Required Service from Consultant:
Education: A minimum of MPH or MD is required, preferably with advanced Degree or higher in social work, social sciences or a closely related field.
Experience: Seven and more years of work experience in HIV care and treatment, especially in implementation of new programs, guidelines and training development. Experience and engagement in different consultancies as a freelancer will be a plus.
