The position: The overall purpose of this position is to support IFPRI’s efforts to provide technical assistance during the establishment of the National Information Platform for Nutrition (NIPN) in Ethiopia. The research officer will provide support for nutrition related data collection and analysis, and to facilitate technical capacity development in nutrition related data management and analysis. This position will require close collaboration with the team implementing the NIPN at the Ethiopian Institute for Public Health (EPHI), as well as with the Ethiopian Agriculture Research Institute. Considering that IFPRI will provide “needs based technical support”, the intended tasks and activities of the research officer will vary based on the process cycle.

Monthly Base Salary: Birr 35,492 (Negotiable depending on experience, skill and salary history of the candidate)
