Develops and maintains pharmacy services in accordance with company policies, Woreda and or Federal laws, rules, regulations, accepted standards, professional practices and health center policies.
Maintains monthly medical inventory, stock control in store areas, and weekly emergency kits inspection.
Meets with vendors and assess new products or changes to clinic/health center systems.
Prepares and dispenses medicines, chemicals and pharmaceutical preparations according to written orders by authorized medical practitioners with clinical/health center privileges.
Gives technical advice for patients and describe usage of the prescribed drugs.
Advises nurses and other health practitioners on the selection, dosages, interactions, and side effects of medications.
Monitors the health and progress of patients in response to drug therapy.
Advises patients and answer questions about prescription drugs, including questions about possible side effects and interactions amongst different drugs.
Provides information and makes recommendations about over-the-counter drugs (i.e. medicine that may be sold directly to the customer without a prescription from the health care professional).
Responds to inquiries concerning drug contents, dosages, etc.
Monitors stock level of drugs and replenish per requirements.
Reports monthly consumption and supply analysis and monitor best before dates of all drugs.
Prepares annual medicine budget.
Disposes absolute drugs as per the law and company procedures.

Job Requirement
Education: Minimum Diploma In Druggist /Pharmacist/ and Renewed Professional Certificate of Competence
