ROLE PURPOSE:
To provide interactive counselling, promotion and support for PLW, care takers of OTP/SFP beneficiaries and mother groups on breast feeding, complementary feeding and maternal and child nutrition to bring optimal infant and young child feeding practices particularly to mothers and careers of children less than 2 years, using family health cards and others IEC materials as a tool for successful counselling. The post holder expected to work to change mind-sets of mothers’/care takers on IYCF in Emergency Context to bring desired practices related to infant and young child feeding. Assist mother support groups formation; facilitate discussion sessions and documenting case studies in day to day activities to formulate lessons. Also need to provide relevant input for success stories.
