· Manage the project data by ensuring all data is up to date and entered on the system
· Support in facilitating access to finance and access to market for TOV clients
· Assist with managing external relationships, including financial institutions, buyers and other stakeholders including drafting donor reports and presentations
· Provide general administrative assistance to the team including following up on procurement of project materials, service contracts, customs issues etc.
· Organize stakeholders’ meeting to discuss on project achievements, challenges and annual program activities work plan.
· Facilitate and organize trainings to program staff and other experts and DAs of partner organizations.
· Orient, together with HR and admin, the newly hired program staff.
a. M &E Support
· Manage data collection and data entry of individual households and farmers
· Manage data collection, data entry of all the surveys needed for the program
· Prepare and distribute M&E data on farms, cooperative and loans
· Update all reports and dashboard used by the program
· Contribute to the design of surveys
· Ensure all data communicated is accurate and fact checked
· Ensure effective and timely implementation of the M&E work plan and survey
· Provide strategic feedback to improve the TOV program to Program Manager, M&E Coordinator, and teammates based on successes, challenges, and other analysis of ongoing activities.
· Prepare and organize quarterly and annual financial and physical reports of the program and submit to the regionals finance and economic development bureaus and other concerned offices at all levels.
b. Facilitate access to financed and access to markets
· With a support from the Project Manager liaise with horticulture (vegetable) buyers to facilitate market access to TOV clients
· Help team members leverage their existing relationships with Farmer Service Centers, SACCOs and help lock in major vegetable buyers in Addis
· Liaise with local banks and other financial institutions to facilitate finance access to TOV clients and suppliers.
· Identify and document credit application requirements from selected (and potential) financial institutions
· Assist bank analysts to understand TNS client financial models
· Responsible for managing client loan documentation management
· Orient cooperatives, farmers and Farmer Service Centers on bank credit policies and procedures
· Act as a liaison between client, TNS, banks and buyers to fulfill clients market and finance access needs.
c. Administrative Support
· Assist the Program Manager in writing donor reports and donor presentations as required
· Collaborate with other project team members and departments to support administrative and M&E activities;
· Provide direction and oversight of administrative issues for the program, including field offices
· Coordinate team and guest visits, facilitate travel arrangement, provide assistance, and appropriate information and/or facilitate their visit as per schedule provided;
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager
· Gather activity update from the BAs, organize and submit weekly report (5-15) to program manager
· Manage drivers and facilitate logistics to the program staff to handle activities properly.
Required Qualifications and Capabilities
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or related field;
· 4+ year of experience in project administration plus 2 years M& E experience
· Understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures;
· High level of organization and efficiency;
· Clear and concise communication skills;
· Excellent compute skills including excel, word and PowerPoint
· Keen attention to detail;
· Ability to manage multiple tasks at once for different individuals;
· Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion;
· Results focused and aware of the different challenges faced by individuals;
· Culturally aware and able to speak English and Amharic fluently.
· Flexibility to juggle multiple area of work including supporting other teams
Preferred Skills
· Experience in planning and coordination of events;
· Experience in agriculture, agriculture technologies and innovations, or other relevant area;
· Experience working with farmers, cooperatives and agribusinesses at the field level
· Experience of working in the Financial/ banking sector
· Experience working with different stakeholders
