Bakerd is a private sole proprietorship company engaged in the manufacturing sector. The company manufacturers bakery and pastry products such as baking powder, bread improver and other related packed food products. Since its establishment, the company has gained larger market share and strives to be one of the leading manufacturer and supplier of high quality food additive products in the country, specially food items related to bakery and pastry. Our factory is located in Addis Ababa, Nifas Silk Lafto and currently has about 25 permanent and 6 temporary staff.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare tax return and payment processing (VAT, employee salary payroll, pension and the like) and remit tax on timely manner
Submit all statutory tax payments to government institution on time
Review, up-date, follow-up and inform credit sales of the company. Also solve issues of payment and invoice with customers and suppliers as needed
Maintain inventory database stocks of the company
Contact bank and operating bank procedure
Ability to apply knowledge of government tax regulations and other applicable laws
Organize and maintain proper financial records
Excellent organizational skill, ability to determine priorities and attention to detail
Excellent in English (oral and written) and other local languages
Interact with external auditors in completing audit
Adhere's to organizational ethics
Other duties as assigned by the management.
Job Requirement
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance or related filed. Advanced diploma could be accepted.
Experience: At least 1-year experience for bachelor’s degree holders and minimum of 2 years for advanced diploma holders. For diploma holders COC certificate is mandatory.
Computer Skills: Excellent skills on MS Excel, MS Word and familiarity with basic computer operations. Ability to manage various software of accounting like Peachtree is advantageous.
