Green Way Farms (www.greenpathfood.com) is currently seeking a professional, high-performing individual to serve as the company’s Finance & Admin Manager.
This individual will have the unique opportunity to help shape the future of a young, environmentally and socially-conscious, international agri-business in Ethiopia, one of Africa’s most promising economies. Ideal candidates have extensive experience working in Ethiopia, and the ability to successfully lead the company’s finance, human resource, and administration duties as the company scales over the next 5 years
Green Way Farms is a specialty food company that produces and sources premium food products through a large network of smallholder Partner Farms. The company exports its premium, organic products to specialty retailers and wholesalers in the Europe and the Middle East. After 2.5 years of operations, the company now manages a staff of 30 professionals and a network of more than 100 smallholder Partner Farmers, while exporting weekly to Europe.
Mission of Role
To ensure that Green Way’s finance and accounting, HR management, and general administrative needs are fully met; that legal requirements are fully adhered to; and that any donor- or investor-related accounting and fund management is managed to required specifications.

Reporting

Location
This position is based in Addis Ababa, but it requires 4-5 days per month of travel to the company’s field office(s).
