Job Summary:
CRS Ethiopia is seeking highly experienced and skilled Labor, Youth, and Gender Manager for the five-year Feed the Future Ethiopia Livelihoods for Resilience – Oromia program. This project works to support Productive Safety Net Program (PSNP) IV households to improve their sustainable economic well-being, across eight woredas in Oromia. The Labor, Youth, and Gender Manager will provide strategic vision, leadership and technical expertise in leading the activities of one of the key purposes of the LRO scope of work 1) including youth and women and 2) increasing income from gainful wage employment. The incumbent will have a strong background in livelihood generation with a particular focus on the employment pathway, youth and gender. The Labor, Youth, and Gender Manager work closely with implementing partner Meki Catholic Secretariat in identifying employment opportunities, identifying barriers (especially for youth), making clients employment-ready, and facilitating linkages between clients and employers. In terms of youth and gender, the incumbent will be responsible for the supervising the Youth and Gender Specialist.
