Position: Procurement and Services Department –Intern
Remuneration: As per the GIZ scale

Duration: 3 Month possibility of three-month extension
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
Objective: A unique learning opportunity for a fresh graduate in the field areas of Procurement and financing. The ideal candidate should have a passion to work as a procurement officer and should be willing to work hard & learn with the support of the existing team.
A. Tasks:
· Provide consistent and strong support to other team members in the procurement department.
· Assist in determining accurate standard specifications
· Assist purchase officers while negotiates price, places orders, inspect deliveries including quotation procedures
· Responsible for filing and/or distributing Procurement documents and completed transactions as per the GIZ standard
· Keeps database on suppliers and conducts regular search for alternatives
· Receives and checks delivered materials
· Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by superior/s.
· Attends Procurement and Services team meetings, hold Minutes of Minutes (MoM)
A. Required Educational qualifications and Competency,
• University Degree in Business Administration, Management or related field.
