Background
Under the overall supervision of the IOM-SLO Addis Ababa Chief of Mission and Head of Programs, and the direct supervision of the EU-IOM Joint Initiative on Migrant Protection and Reintegration in East and Horn of Africa (Joint Initiative) Programme Coordinator, the incumbent will be responsible for advancing the program’s migrant protection portfolio, which includes addressing the rights and needs of migrants in a situation of vulnerability, including migrant children and victims of trafficking and exploitation. The incumbent will support the implementation of general migrant protection activities in accordance with the Program objectives of the Joint Initiative and in consultation with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
