General Assignment:
Ensure sound accounting and financial management of the capital/mission
1:Supervise Mission accountancy
- Supervise Capital accountancy
- Supervise the monthly mission accountancy closure
- Supervising SAGA base implementation
2: Participate in managing and supervise the mission’s cash management
- In charge of the check (according to the latest BFUs) and consolidation of the monthly treasury forecast sent by the bases and capital office before submission to Country Finance Manager (monthly deadline 20th )
- Receive and check the cash request from the field before submission to Country Finance Manager for transfer.
- Check the accounting balance and submit to Country Finance Manager
- In charge of the mission’s cash level (cash flow plan) under the supervision of the Country Finance Manager
- Ensure, check and communicate fund transfers from the Capital to the Bases
- Control every month the respect of the cash management policy rules
3: Support on financial and budgetary management
- To update monthly mission BFUs
- To send monthly BFU to CFM with a first analysis
- To update monthly Financial plan
- To send monthly Financial plan to CFM with a first analysis
- In case of CFM absence to do budget proposal, to send BFU and financial to the concern persons
4: Manage his/her team
- Take part in the recruitment of team members
- Work out and monitoring individual action plans for team members
- Manage the planning process, the sharing and coordination of tasks
- Ensure appraisal interviews for team members
- Provide technical support to the teams
- Identify the training needs of team members
- Create, organise and lead training sessions
- Manage difficulties in the team
5 : Other tasks
- Ensure technical support to the field offices, including field visits
- Ensure good relationships with financial partners (banks, tax offices, etc.)
Ensure the back-up of the deputy Country finance Manager in case of absence
Qualification/Level of studies: Diploma / Level of studies : Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Accounting and Finance
Required skills: +5 years’ professional experience in finance and administrative, Computer knowledge – Rigour – Organizational skills – Diplomacy – Sense of confidentiality – Good relational qualities – Good knowledge of English
