The Pharo Foundation is a private foundation committed to the development of Africa. Our vision is an economically self-reliant Africa. Our mission is to facilitate economic independence of the African people through the promotion of sustainable livelihoods and job creation in Africa. We value sharing, passion, respect, humility and collaboration. In the last four years, we have funded projects worth over US$6 million in Ethiopia, Somaliland, Somalia and South Sudan. These projects are contributing towards improved access to financial services, education, health, water and sanitation.
Currently, the foundation is constructing girls secondary boarding school at Homosha Woreda in Benishangul-Gumuze region and by September 2018 we will start to admit girls with the highest academic performance. The vision of Pharo Girls’ Boarding Secondary School, Homosha, is the all-round development of girls who reach their highest potential and become future leaders and role models. We aim to foster the intellectual and personal development of promising girls in Benishangul-Gumuz Region so that they are inspired to achieve academic excellence, to be capable of serving the society in whatever walk of life they follow, and to become economically self-reliant.
We would now like to fill the following vacant positions with competent and motivated teaching staff for the Boarding school. The positions will be based in Homosha Woreda, in Assosa Zone Benishangul-Gumuz Regional State.
