Purpose of the job Responsible for the management of vehicles in accordance with set policies and guidelines. Ensure safety and handling of fleet as per company’s standard by fulfilling operational needs in reasonable way.
Assure that outsourced maintenance and service works are executed as requested, following the vehicle’s technical standards and in line with acceptable costs
Assure all owned vehicles are in compliance with all Federal, state and local laws and regulations, this includes licensing, inspections, registrations, insurance and so forth.
Coordinate operation, maintenance, scheduling and reporting of owned fleet of vehicles.
Obtain and distribute new and renewals of vehicle registration and insurance cards.
Plan, prepare, direct, and coordinate the Company Fleet Maintenance Program.
Designate and review vehicle assignments.
Review purchase requisitions for parts and supplies; review vendor bid responses for tools, equipment, parts and services; monitor expenditures.
Geo-fencing the routes, depots, breweries, suppliers store and offsite storage locations.
Prepare a different time schedule for annual inspection of all company trucks and vehicle and follow up the driver adherence and set alarm notifications to remind the service date in the GPS system
Reporting, GPS tracking and Record keeping
Create and maintain a database for accident record keeping and monitoring of owned and contracted vehicles.
Analyze and prepare monthly/quarterly/annual statistical fleet reports.
Prepare a current status report by vehicle, driver name, mobility status, location name and speed every 3 hours send to the respective stakeholders ( Brewery Warehouse & Transport Mgrs., Transport coordinator and Depot Managers)
Prepare a driver error report by Driver and vehicle plate number indicating the Over speed count and duration, Over revving count and duration, Harsh acceleration count and duration, Harsh braking count and duration, Excessive idle count and duration and out of green band on daily basis and monthly and communicate this to the Brewery Warehouse & Transport Manager, Transport coordinator and Depot Managers.
Prepare event report by Vehicle/Driver indicating the event description battery disconnection, Fuel level censor disconnection, Night driving and Speed censor disconnected on daily basis and monthly and communicate this to the Brewery Warehouse & Transport Manager, Transport coordinator and Depot Managers.
Prepare a Time at location report indicating the departure place, departure time, driving time, distance travelled, maximum speed, arrival place, and arrival time, next departure time and time at location on daily basis and monthly and communicate this to the Brewery Warehouse & Transport Manager, Transport coordinator and Depot Managers.
Prepare an unauthorized truck stops report indicating the driver/plate number, the unauthorized location name, arrival time in the unauthorized area and the time at location when the truck stops in the unauthorized area on daily basis and monthly and communicate this to the Brewery Warehouse & Transport Manager, Transport coordinator and Depot Managers.
Fleet utilization
Prepare a fuel utilization report & Fuel theft report on daily basis for distribution trucks indicating the opening liters in the fuel tank, liters of fuel added and fuel loss on daily basis and monthly and communicate this to the Brewery Warehouse & Transport Manager, Transport coordinator and Depot Managers.
Submit the driver error report to the Transport coordinator and follow up the meeting agenda and action plan set to improve the driver errors
Compile all the brewery Warehouse and Transport KPI and prepare a summary report for Central warehouse and transport manager
Measure the variance of the actual time spent at location and the target set time and reports the variance to the respective stakeholders on weekly and monthly and communicates this to the Brewery Warehouse & Transport Manager, Transport coordinator and Depot Managers.
Maintain a central record of use of all vehicular units, including running costs.
Fleet technical state
Attend and monitor all on-site inspection of vehicles being assessed of damages by insurance inspectors.
Develop and maintain standardized specifications and vehicle procurement needs in conjunction with Department Manager and Procurement.
Identify surplus vehicles for sale and disposition.
Lead improvement projects using appropriate TPM tools
Upload remind for the schedule day of maintenance and follow up the driver adhered to
Training
Plan, organize, and conduct driver training courses, periodic refresher courses in safety and workshops for all vehicle and Truck drivers in collaboration with SHE, Technical Team and TPM.
Develop and direct fleet management and vehicle utilization training, in collaboration with TPM.
Identify/coordinate, together with TPM, training needs for garage employees.
Train users of GPS tracking
Be a leader in the development of the safety culture in the company
Fleet Budget
Prepare & Review financial/budget reports and prepare yearly operating budget.
Analyze and monitor direct and indirect fleet costs.

Job Requirement
Education
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
2-3 years related work experience.
Logistic Management in the Manufacturing or similar industry is preferable
