Capitol Medical Supply LLC and Human Touch is a US based company with branches in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and looking to hire an office Administrative for day to day office and accounting operations to work from our Addis Ababa office. The responsible include but not limited to:
A . Administrative Responsibilities include:
· Research and obtain business license
· Organize all the dealing in Ethiopia including real-estate
· Discover opportunities in Ethiopia, such as bidding
· Communicate with manufacturing and distributors
· Verifies correctness of vouchers, including supporting documents.
· Handling VATs, tax declaration and WHT.
· Account all expense and income organization; pay all the required taxes on time
· Executes and ensures the systematic recording of financial transactions and maintenance of accounting records in safe custody.
· Ensures that all financial transactions are carried out in conformance with accepted accounting principles, standards and pertinent governing rules and regulations;
· Monthly reconciliation of bank statements &stock, Assist on preparation of interim periodic financial statements.
· Ensures that collections are deposited in designated banks on time.
· Ensures that the maintenance of capital assets and calculations of deprecation are performed as per the rates established in the accounting manual.
· Preparing and analysis of trial balances, financial transactions, document preparations, maintenance of proper records in collection, compilation, posting and recording activities.
· Follows up and monitors the timely recovery and settlement of debts and creditors account.
· Processes proposals for write-off.
· Utilization of approved budgets examines &reports on excess utilization.
· Prepares periodic performance report and submits to supervisor
· Strong planning skills and experience working to strict time-guidelines;
· Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills and as well as negotiation and problem solving skills;
· Performs other related duties as required.
Job Requirements/Qualification and Experience
· Education: BA Degree in, Accounting, Business Administration, Management or related field.
· Required work experience: Minimum 3 Years
· Exhibits conscientiousness, reliability, integrity, loyalty, commitment and perseverance.
· Be Flexible, willing to learn, and approach challenges constructively
· Excellent communication skills on different hierarchical levels, including conflict management skills.
· Excellent knowledge of English.
· Good working knowledge of standard computer applications such as MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
