Job Summary:
Plan, organize, direct, co-ordinate, control and supervise the overall activities of the department ensures the provision of efficient services to the company’s clients and staff, ensures the preparation of regular and periodic financial reports, financial statements and other related reports of the real estate.
Ability to help develop, implements, support, and review all Human Resource initiatives, policies, procedures, and systems; Leadership and instructional aptitudes needed to provide training and oversight on policies and procedures; Continued involvement in and refinement of the recruitment process, including generating job descriptions, posting advertisements, and managing the hiring process.
As a Purchasing officer will responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors. The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers.
Detailed duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.
Ensure the provision of efficient companying services to the company’s clients and staff.
Maintains and balances an automated consolidation system by inputting data; scheduling required jobs; verifying data.
Ensures the maintenance of up- to- date accounting system and books of accounts and financial records of the real estate.
Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.
Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.
Signs cheques, Vouchers, company transactions, correspondences and other documents of the company in accordance with established procedures.
Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.
Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
Provides accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information; converting data to general ledger system; obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Reviews all company operation manuals, financial guidelines and formats/ slips etc. and suggests possible improvements on same.
Implements internal and external auditors’ comments
Ability to help develop, implements, support, and review all Human Resource Department initiatives, policies, procedures, and systems;

Explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees
Ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed
Informing job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.
Developing, leading and executing purchasing strategies
Estimating and establishing cost parameters and budgets for purchases
Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing
Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
Making professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
Develops plans for purchasing equipment, services and supplies
Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
Create and maintain inventory of all incoming and current supplies
Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
Working with team members and Procurement Manager to complete duties as needed
Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
Performs other related duties as assigned by the deputy chief Executive officer of real estate.
Term of employment: Permanent, place of work: Addis Ababa, Head office for both positions
Job Requirement
Bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance.
10 years and more than Experience in construction firm
At least 4 year Experience in real estate or construction firm in the head Position.
