ROLE PURPOSE:
Holder of this position is responsible to technically support the effective implementation of the 0-3 Early Childhood Care and Development program with the special focus on parental education on early stimulation, supports the integration and coordination among sponsorship core programs, strategically lead community-based parenting session on early stimulation, supports partnership and networking with key partners and stakeholders, ensures that core program components are effectively utilized based on the Detail Implementation Plan(DIP), supports periodic program monitoring and evaluation, longitudinal study on CREDI, produces, shares and documents required program reports.
Reports to: Education Program Coordinator-Sponsorship
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
· Compiles and documents success stories and case studies from the program he/she supports.
· Develops and shares periodic field reports, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as per the organization’s requirement.
· Performs other related tasks as requested by the immediate supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
· BA degree in Education, Psychology and Social Work, Sociology and related fields.
· Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience and of which at least 1 year in NGOs preferably related to ECCD program,
Desirable
· A good understanding of the National ECCE Framework.
· Experience in delivering, organizing and leading parent education/training.
· Experience in working with partners and stakeholders at different levels
· Team-builder and team-player
· Demonstrated ability to communicate in writing and verbally with people
· Fluent in both written and spoken in English and Tigrigna
