Currently, we are looking for experienced Finance Manager.Job Purpose:
The Finance Manager oversees the business and financial operations of the company and shares responsibility for the company’s economic and financial performance.
He/she performs financial analysis, develop financial planning processes and design and implement overall business plans.
The duties of the position incumbent revolve around ensuring that a business is operating effectively and efficiently. Financial Manager duties are to manage accounting and Finance matters. Furthermore, the financial manager responsibilities include banking and finance activities, proper reporting and payment of governmental obligations and controls company’s purchases. Furthermore, he/she provides an array of information needed by shareholders and stakeholders. He/she will also work directly with the management team to dynamically run the business. In conclusion, the ultimate responsibilities are to deal with finance, accounting, purchasing, HR and Admin and operations to ensure that the business is profitable and all deadlines are met by the department.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
1. Correct Accounting Entries:
The Finance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all accounting entries (accounts payable, payroll disbursement and accounts reconciliation) are correctly made in line with IFRS laws and that there is supporting documentation for validating each entry.
2. Secure Internal Controls:
The Finance Manager is responsible for establishing the procedures for securing the internal controls of the company. Under his/her supervision, every invoice will have to be reviewed, aging accounts looked into, and debts managed. He/she has to lay down the compliance rules, make sure that the rules are adhered to and also changed from time to time. Furthermore, he/she has to set up a system for maintaining records and ensure that the records are easily available for those who need to read them.
3. Check and verify accounting Data and Data Analysis:
The Finance Manager has to be skilled at financial analysis and providing a perspective on what the numbers mean. He/she is in a position to assess risk, analyze efficiency and take a view on the policy decisions made by senior management.
4. Prepares Budget
The Finance Manager prepares budget, oversee and report the execution of the company budget on monthly basis.
5. Perform Financial Analysis
The Finance Manager completes regular financial analysis, identifying and managing financial risk, completing financial research, performing economic and sales forecasting, analyzing a company’s sales and overall performance, and managing financial data.
6. Report Financial Findings
The Finance Manager ensures that the numbers which appear in the financial statements are accurate and reported timely.
